October 31, 2025

Dear Residents,

In light of the ongoing government shutdown and possible lapse of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, Rockland County and the five Towns have launched a Countywide Food Drive to help meet the needs of families that are facing food insecurity. As part of the drive, a drop-off box for non-perishable food items has been set up at Town Hall. To make a monetary donation, please click HERE and see below for more information.

While you’re at Town Hall, you may notice two other community collection drives taking place:

🧥 Senator Bill Weber’s Winter Clothing Drive – Collecting gently used coats, scarves, gloves, and hats from November 1 through December 15; and,

🎁 Orangetown PBA’s Toys for Tots Drive – Collecting new, unwrapped toys now through mid-December.

If you are able, please consider donating to one or all of these wonderful causes.

Early voting continues this weekend at Town Hall from 9 am to 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Please remember, there is no voting on Monday, November 3, 2025. Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025 – click HERE to lookup your polling place.

Have an enjoyable weekend! Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night before heading to bed, and best of luck to everyone running in the New York City Marathon on Sunday — may the wind be at your back!

Regards,

Teresa M. Kenny

Produce Pete and the Pearl River Farmers Market

They Call Me Produce Pete is the heartwarming story of a man who turned humble beginnings into a life filled with purpose, passion, and produce. Supervisor Kenny was thrilled to welcome him to the Pearl River Farmers Market this past Saturday. With only a few Saturdays left, be sure to stop by the market before November 22, 2025 — the last day of the season!

2025 Nyack Halloween Parade

Supervisor Kenny attended one of her favorite events this past weekend — the Nyack Halloween Parade — and once again, it did not disappoint! She was joined by fellow elected officials, residents, spooky witches, and more. Congratulations to Senator Bill Weber’s Chief of Staff, John Mulgrew, for taking First Place with his remarkable Jaws costume!

November 3, 2025 is the last day to place your order.
