Dear Friends,

Wisconsin's exports are up for the second year in a row. According data released by the Department of Workforce Development, our state exported $21.25 billion in manufactured goods throughout the world. That's up 2% from the year before. Canada was our largest importer, taking in more than $7 billion worth of manufactured goods. Manufacturing is crucial to our state's success. Wisconsin has 9,437 manufacturers and they employ 475,533 workers. It's great seeing their hard work pay off.

Congratulations to Marcy Elementary in Menomonee Falls! They were recently recognized as a 2019 National Blue Ribbon School. That's an honor reserved for less than one-percent of schools. Congratulations!

As always, if you have any concerns or ideas on how to improve our great state, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone at 608-266-5830 or by email at Sen.Darling@legis.wisconsin.gov.

On, Wisconsin!
Senate Unanimously Approves Darling Bills Protecting Vulnerable Citizens
Four of my bills passed the State Senate on Tuesday with unanimous votes. These bills will help protect victims of sexual assault, stop sex trafficking, protect homeless teens, and stop the diabetes epidemic in our state.

I’ll tell you more about them in the video above.

I am proud to work with these great men and women. Despite what you may see in the news, we often work together. In fact, about 90% of bills end up being bi-partisan. As you saw in the video above, we worked unanimously this week to protect vulnerable people in our state!
