Dear Friends,

Congratulations to Staff Electric in Menomonee Falls! The local company earned a contract to work on the Foxconn plant in Mount Pleasant. This week, Foxconn announced a total of $15 million in subcontracts to Wisconsin companies. This is the second time Foxconn picked Staff Electric for a project. Back in March, they received a contract to do utility work at the $10 billion factory. That's not the only good news on the job front.

More people are working in our area than ever before. Milwaukee area employment set a record in June. According to the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, 890,500 people are employed. That breaks a nearly 20 year old record for employment.

Wisconsin is on a roll economically. For instance, since March of 2017, there have been more job openings than unemployed people in Wisconsin. In the state budget, I worked hard to make sure Governor Evers didn't hurt our success. Please read below to see some of the amazing statistics that our great state is still winning.

As always, if you have any concerns or ideas on how to improve our great state, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone at 608-266-5830 or by email at

On, Wisconsin!
Wisconsin is Still Winning!
