LAST CALL FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES!

Year 3 of Venturing Beyond the Steeple is coming to a close, and we are just inches away from meeting our goal of 300 backpacks full of school supplies for the students at Northwood Elementary School! School supply collection ends THIS SUNDAY, August 13. Click the image to donate $20 ($20=1 fully stocked backpack!) or visit the website for a list of supplies needed.

This Sunday, August 13, we will gather in the Allred Center at 4:00 p.m. to sort all of the school supplies and stuff the backpacks. We will break for dinner together at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to come stuff backpacks and enjoy fellowship with your church family!

Don't miss this annual Backpack Blessing next Sunday, August 20! Students, teachers, administrators, and ALL those starting a new year are invited to bring your school bag (or tote or briefcase!) to be covered in prayer as we start the 2023-24 school year!

Calling all gardeners! It's time to check in on the garden beds and courtyard we adopted at Northwood School! Even if you only have 15 minutes there is much weeding, trimming, and planting (funds can be provided to cover cost; contact Kim Myers), to be done. Bring your own tools and yard bag, and let's get to work creating beautiful spaces for the students to enjoy! Stop by anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Monday, 8/21, Tuesday, 8/22, or Wednesday, 8/23.
