Announcement

As of November 20, we will no longer have a Building & Facilities Manager at Memorial. Rev. Pan is actively looking for HVAC apprentice positions to help Darrin transition to the career he has now been certified to pursue, so if any of you have contacts in that industry, please share them with Pan+.

Until such time we can identify someone to serve as a sexton, we will all have to be mindful of keeping the church, parish hall (upper and lower) and rectory offices clean. The trash cans go out into the alley on Tuesdays later in the day and the cans brought back in to the rectory yard Wednesday after pick up. The recycling goes out on Thurs later in the day and the cans returned to the rectory yard after pick up on Fridays. Please help as much as you can when using the bathrooms to keep them clean until we have someone to do that work.

Food Donations for Afghan Immigrants

Dear Memorial Community,

We are collecting food donations for two immigrant families with a total of six children and five adults. Their government assistance has been reduced and we are helping to fill the gap, while they continue to work hard to establish their independence.

Please bring your donations to the church sanctuary, where there will be a marked box to leave items, on Sundays only, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. We will deliver them to the families after the 10:30 service. All food should be either shelf-stable or safe to remain at room temperature for several hours.

Memorial Episcopal Church is excited to announce the launch of our online silent auction! Running from September 24 to December 22, 2024, this fundraiser will feature a variety of unique items available for bidding, as well as "Buy it Now" options for immediate purchase.

New items will be added throughout the auction, so be sure to check back often! All proceeds support the mission and ministries of Memorial Episcopal.

We are currently seeking people to work as media technicians in our church to support our streaming and Zoom services on Sundays. These services are designed to help individuals who are unable to attend in person but still wish to worship as part of our community. As a media technologist, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online services.
