CARING MINISTRIES UPDATE

The Caring Ministries met recently and two wonderful ministry opportunities came out of the meeting. Here is a brief description of them both:

Meal-Making Ministry – prior to Covid, we had a wonderful group of volunteers who would periodically gather in the church kitchen to make complete meals. These meals would then be frozen and stored, ready to be taken to individuals in the congregation in need. Kelsey Flower has graciously agreed to restart this ministry, so if you might be interested in helping with this, please contact Kelsey at kelseyflower@sbcglobal.net.

Transportation Ministry - this is a new idea for a ministry, where our volunteers would help transport folks in our congregation who might need a lift somewhere. It could be a ride to church, or to a doctor’s appointment, or perhaps something else. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact Kim Doege at kim.doege@yahoo.com.
