Thank you for your gifts this Easter in support of our local, national, and international chosen missions.

We have collected and sent the following amounts to the following organizations:


Local

Cornerstone Family Programs and Morristown Neighborhood House - $855.00


National

Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights - $775.00


International

UMCOR for Ukraine Relief - $7,595.00*

*Please note, this is the total amount we have collected for Ukraine over several weeks.

  • Of Healing for Steven S. to have a successful treatment/procedure.
  • Of Healing for George, as he recovers from surgery and Peggy who cares for him.
  • For Melda and Dave P.
  • For the people of Ukraine and Russia.
  • For Refugees around the world and those welcoming and caring for them.
  • For those poor, on the margins dealing with daily injustices and indignities.

Christian Education takes place on Sunday mornings

at 11:00 for ages 4 and up!

Whirl Kids (age 4 – 4th grade) 

Sundays at 11:10am meet with Kate Radler, Edie Myers-Arnold, and Peter Hill on the upper level in Room 6 for music, a fun video, and activities related to the day’s Bible reading.

 

Submerge (5th-8th grade) –Sundays at 11:10am meet with Pastor Sharon in the Wesley Room. We are journeying through some of the most dramatic stories in the Bible, through listening, imagination, and dialogue. Some in this class have recently been trained as acolytes, so watch for some new faces bringing the Light of Christ into our sanctuary on Sunday mornings!

 

High School Discussion – Sunday at 11:10am meet with Jesse Dicken and Matthew Beland in Room 7.

This Sunday, April 24th at 10:00 a.m. Tom Belding, harmonica, and Peter Hill, piano, will perform Simple Gifts, arr. by Jim Brickman. Join us!

 

The Ukulele Orchestra will next meet online and in person on Saturday, April 23th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Music Room. For Zoom information contact Peter Hill at the below email address.

Our amazing Chatham Township and Chatham Borough Fire Departments are sponsoring a Food Drive and Diaper Drive for our pantry and NorthPorch here at CUMC on Saturday, 4/30. The event is rain/shine and you just have to drive thru.
