Sunday, May 8th , is Mother's Day. We honor the women in our lives that selflessly nurture us. We thank our mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, aunts, cousins, sisters, and friends that cherish us in their hearts. | |
During the last Sunday's worship service, we received the following requests for prayers...
- Of Healing for John and his family and caretakers. (AW)
- For a dear friend, Donna, for sympathy and comfort on the loss of her mother this morning at the age of 101.
- Of Concern for Melda and Dave P.-comfort and strength each day.
- For Dr. Igor and his colleagues and patients in the Kharkiv hospital.
- For Melda on hospice care, and for Dave as he cares for her.
- For the family of Ray Lauver, as they grieve his death, and give thanks for his life, that in Christ lives on.
- For the family of Herb Davis, as they grieve his death, and give thanks for his life, that in Christ lives on.

Corrected Application for Chatham Borough Below:
Operation Reassurance
WHAT IS “OPERATION REASSURANCE”?
This program is designed to give SENIOR CITIZENS and/or PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES the opportunity to speak to a representative of the Police Department or leave a message on a daily basis, just to make sure you are OK and haven’t had any problems during the night.
DO I NEED THIS PROGRAM?
Only you can answer that question. Maintaining one’s independence can be an increasingly difficult task as we age. The Operation Reassurance program is designed to assist senior citizens and disabled persons with maintaining their independence through a daily check-in call, and we couldn’t agree more. That’s why we implemented the “OPERATION REASSURANCE” program many years ago.
DO I QUALIFY?
This program is available to any SENIOR CITIZEN or DISABLED person residing in Chatham Borough or Chatham Township.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
IT’S FREE!!!!
