Updates

Food Pantry Update:

Thank you for your continued support. We are so grateful for the orders we have received, the bags being dropped off, and finding our sheds being restocked by our friends. We are still working diligently to replenish the shelves inside our building to make sure we can restock the outside sheds 4-5 days per week. Your continued assistance this summer is greatly appreciated.

URGENT NEED:

At this time, our 24/7 pop up pantry continues to experience a critical shortage of many food and all personal care staples. In the summer, donations are typically low. This summer, we have found that this trend continues but we are also finding that use of our sheds have increased. We need and appreciate assistance in any form. Ideas of how to help:

  • Spread the word! Please share news of our need with neighbors and friends. Word of mouth is an amazing way to help us.
  • Fill a bag- When you head to the store for a visit, please consider making a bag for the pantry. A list of our most needed items is available on our webpage.
  • Online- There are links to donate through our webpage. You can even use our Amazon Wish List to send something to the church. Links are found below in our Frequently Used Links section.

Saga of The Upper Room

We have been given the update that the Sept/October edition will be delivered next week. Keeping our fingers crossed, we are hopeful for a positive update for next week's ENews. We believe the July/August issue is still on vacation, though. All indications are pointing towards an arrival around Labor Day.

In the meantime, Click Here for the Upper Room website for additional resources. Thank you for your continuing patience.

Church Office Schedule

Current Masking Policy

The CUMC Church Council has voted unanimously to follow the CDC Covid Data tracker for Morris County to evaluate weekly Covid levels. Going forward, this tracker will help guide us in determining our indoor mask usage for all CUMC functions. Covid levels and recommendations are updated weekly on Thursday nights by the CDC. These updates will be used at CUMC from Friday-Friday and will state if masks required (high level) or optional (medium/low). You may check to see what the current Morris County Covid levels are prior to coming by Clicking Here

Thank you for your ongoing patience, and expressions

of care for your neighbors!
