While many of our friends are away this summer, we have been busy preparing our building and grounds for your return! Some of the "summer spruce up" activities completed so far have been painting nursery school classrooms, closet clean outs, weeding, mulching, and landscaping. We look forward to welcoming you back soon and

hearing about your summer.

Thursday: Come any time between 10AM-2PM.

OR Friday: Come any time 9AM-4PM (Friday helper must have key to church door since the office will not be open)

Saga of The Upper Room

Our summer saga of the missing Upper Room has come to a semi satisfying conclusion. Our July/August edition has arrived and is now available on the information ledge (located at the top of the staircase) and in Rodda Hall. We also received the September/October issue. Staying consistent the mysterious inconsistent summer delivery, we only received about half of our order. We will put out the limited number of issues for September/October next weekend.

Thank you for your patience.

A Special Thanks

We recently received a lovely thank you note and gift in support of our Covid Relief fund and our efforts to ease food insecurity in our community.

Food Pantry Update:

Thank you for your continued support. We are so grateful for the orders we have received, the bags being dropped off, and finding our sheds being restocked by our friends. We are still working diligently to replenish the shelves inside our building to make sure we can restock the outside sheds 4-5 days per week. Your continued assistance this summer is greatly appreciated.

We still need help filling our inside shelves with pasta (any and all types)

and boxes of cereal!

Current Masking Policy

The CUMC Church Council has voted unanimously to follow the CDC Covid Data tracker for Morris County to evaluate weekly Covid levels. Going forward, this tracker will help guide us in determining our indoor mask usage for all CUMC functions. Covid levels and recommendations are updated weekly on Thursday nights by the CDC. These updates will be used at CUMC from Friday-Friday and will state if masks required (high level) or optional (medium/low). You may check to see what the current Morris County Covid levels are prior to coming by Clicking Here
