  • Of Gratitude for all who are welcoming and caring for refugees.
  • Of Gratitude for a daughter's safe travel.
  • For Ira & Beverly as they walk through the unknown of medical tests and new doctors.
  • For Igor T., Svetlana T. and Igor K.-all in Ukraine and will be trying to evacuate today and tomorrow. (JK & AK)
  • For Ukraine.
  • Of continued healing for Audrey following recent surgery.
  • Bless Arthur on his birthday, March 5th.
  • For Peg as she recovers from a recent hospitalization.
  • For Justin's colleague Igor, who is trying to rescue his mother from Kharkiv, Ukraine and all who are worried about loved ones in harms way.
  • For Georg S. who entered Life Eternal this past week and for his wife Margaret, son Michael, and his grandchildren.
  • For Matt S. dealing with mental health issues and for his family as they intervene.
  • For our 84 year old Uncle Bob as he battles low oxygen from post Covid. Make him stronger. (DM & BM)

Adult Class Update!

This Sunday, March 13th, the Adult Class continues its Lenten Study with Amy-Jill Levine’s book, Witness at The Cross. We’ll focus on the two thieves, who were crucified with Jesus, and the power of being remembered when we enter the Kingdom of God. Come join us at 11:15am in the Asbury room, adjacent to the sanctuary. Contact Ronald Yarger at ryarger@optonline.net if you have questions or if you'd like the Zoom link to join the class remotely.

Lenten Small Groups

Small Groups are now meeting and exploring the book and video Witness at the Cross by Dr. Amy-Jill Levine. Meeting times are:

Sundays at 11:10 am (facilitated by Ron Yarger)

Mondays at noon

Wednesdays at 7:30 pm (facilitated by Pastor Sharon).


Sunday and Monday groups will meet both in-person (masked) in the Asbury Room and on Zoom. The Wednesday group will meet on Zoom only.

 

Books are available for purchase at cokesbury.com and amazon.com. Wherever you may be on your faith journey, we encourage you to connect with fellow pilgrims for study, prayer, conversation, and community.

at 11:00 for ages 4 and up!

Whirl Kids (age 4 – 4th grade) 

Sundays at 11:10am meet with Kate Radler, Edie Myers-Arnold, and Peter Hill on the upper level in Room 6 for music, a fun video, and activities related to the day’s Bible reading.

 

Submerge (5th-8th grade) –Sundays at 11:10am meet with Pastor Sharon in the Wesley Room. We are journeying through some of the most dramatic stories in the Bible, through listening, imagination, and dialogue. Some in this class have recently been trained as acolytes, so watch for some new faces bringing the Light of Christ into our sanctuary on Sunday mornings!

 

High School Discussion – Sunday at 11:10am meet with Jesse Dicken and Matthew Beland in Room 7.

Free Performance Opportunity

for Seniors!

 RSVP By Wednesday!



All local Senior Citizens are invited to attend a free performance of Chatham High School's production of Anastasia. Performance is Wednesday, March 23rd, 4PM at CHS Performing Arts Center.

 

Seniors who reserve a seat will receive a prepacked, take-home dinner of Chicken Francese, salad, pasta, and a roll.
