  • For George, Peggy, & Brandon M as George anticipates his surgery on April 12th.
  • For the Pacchia Family and my friend Ursula who is battling colon cancer. (JI)
  • Of Healing for the Pacchia Family.
  • Of Concern for the Pacchia Family in their sudden and tragic loss.
  • For family and friends of Michael Pacchia, killed this week in an auto accident.
  • For Melda and Dave as they handle medical concerns. (RY)
  • Of Healing and Comfort for the family, friends, and community surrounding the 16year old boy that died by suicide in Maplewood.

Members of the Rebecca and Sarah Circles (and their guests) met this Tuesday, April 5th in our Asbury Room. The women welcomed Deaconess Leah Wandera from Kenya as their guest speaker for the morning. Her compelling presentation created quite a buzz among all those in attendance.

Men's Group Breakfast This Saturday

The CUMC Mens' Breakfast will be held this Saturday, April 9th, at 9am on the back patio at Dave and Kelly Bramwell's house in New Providence. Address is below:

If rain (or extreme cold) is in the forecast, we will instead have our breakfast in Rodda Hall. An email will be sent on Friday if we need to relocate.

Small Groups are now meeting and exploring the book and video Witness at the Cross by Dr. Amy-Jill Levine. Meeting times are:

-Sundays at 11:10 am (facilitated by Ron Yarger)

-Mondays at noon

-Wednesdays at 7:30 pm (facilitated by Pastor Sharon).


Wherever you may be on your faith journey, we encourage you to connect with fellow pilgrims for study, prayer, conversation, and community.

Christian Education takes place on Sunday mornings

at 11:00 for ages 4 and up!

Whirl Kids (age 4 – 4th grade) 

Sundays at 11:10am meet with Kate Radler, Edie Myers-Arnold, and Peter Hill on the upper level in Room 6 for music, a fun video, and activities related to the day’s Bible reading.

 

Submerge (5th-8th grade) –Sundays at 11:10am meet with Pastor Sharon in the Wesley Room. We are journeying through some of the most dramatic stories in the Bible, through listening, imagination, and dialogue. Some in this class have recently been trained as acolytes, so watch for some new faces bringing the Light of Christ into our sanctuary on Sunday mornings!

 

High School Discussion – Sunday at 11:10am meet with Jesse Dicken and Matthew Beland in Room 7.


There will be no Sunday School classes on Easter Sunday.
