From the Superintendent
Dear Ferndale Family,

Today is International Worker's Day. Right now, people all around the world are putting themselves at risk to keep the wheels turning so that we have food in our cupboards, heat and power in our homes, supplies at our doorstep, and so much more. Today, we honor their sacrifice and their struggle.

In these tough times, heroes come out of the shadows. These are people who go above and beyond for others: whether it is by placing their own life at risk, putting a smile on your face during a tough day, or those who just have a positive impact on others and don't even realize it.

We want to honor these local heroes, so we ask you to let us know who your COVID hero is and why? Please send submissions to by Monday, May 4 at 3pm.

In Education,
Dania H. Bazzi, PhD
