Morristown American - Morris Plains Little League 10-year-old All-Stars to play in Eastern Regional Tournament


The Eastern Regional tournament will be held in Cranston, Rhode Island from August 5-13. The team will play against the top teams in the Mid Atlantic Region from New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, and Maryland throughout the week prior to the championship games. This 10U team is only the second team in Morris Plains/Morristown Little League history to win a State title and the first team to ever play in the Eastern Regional Tournament.

Visit the Tax Office Page on the website to look up and pay your property taxes! 


There are fees associated with paying your bill online.

If you pay by ACH or e-check, there is a $1.95 convenience fee.

The fee for all debit and credit card payments will be approximatly 2.95% of your total bill.


Senior Meeting Monday 8/8

Last week Cavan Markt raised an additional $800 for his Ukranian orphanage playground project. Thank you for being so generous! He has now raised over $1,300. Amazing 7-year old!


Our delightful music will be back, as well as local artist Eileen Bodnar (A Krafte Production) and Julia Murtha.

Commuity Band Concerts

Wednesdays in Augst, 6:30 pm Robert's Garden

The concerts are free and will be weather-permitting. There will be no rain date or indoor location.



August 10th will feature the Morris Plains Community Band playing a program of Broadway tunes.


August 17th will feature the Morris Plains Community Band playing a program of classical favorites.


August 24th will feature the Morris Plains Community Band playing a program of Hollywood movie themes.


August 31st will feature the Morris Plains Community Band playing a program of Patriotic songs.

The Morris County Clerk, will be honoring members of Gold Star Families at a reception on September 27, 2022, at Foster Fields, located at 73 Kahdena Road, Morristown, NJ from 9:00am to 11:00am. The will be honoring all military families from all branches of service and all conflicts wherein their loved ones participated. If a Gold Star Family member wishes to participate or has any questions, they can either call (973-285-6132) or email their questions directly to their office at [email protected]


Don't miss the big finale of summer break 2022 at Red Bull Arena. Snag discounted group tickets with MPSA to the NY Red Bulls match on August 27th and stay for fireworks after the game!

Municipal Court Update

In an effort to maintain public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, the municipal court will continue to host remote virtual court sessions.  Please contact us to schedule a proceeding and/or provide updated personal information.   



If you are disputing a traffic ticket and do not wish to appear in court, many cases are now eligible for review through the Online Municipal Case Resolution System at njmcdirect.com. You may select the option for case dispute and enter your ticket information.  Eligible traffic tickets will be reviewed by the prosecutor and you will be notified with their recommendation. 

Our office is here to serve you during the hours of 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday.   You may call the court to schedule an appointment at 973-538-4019. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service in "The Community of Caring" and strive to provide a satisfying court experience for all.
