All Seasons Garden Club - New Members Welcome!

Our All Seasons Garden Club will resume monthly meetings starting Wednesday, September 21. After a short business meeting, we will have fun looking back over our past 61 years and then forward to our future plans.

It will be a relaxing meeting where you can meet our members and get an idea of our club’s many projects. Perhaps something will peak your interest, but also you can just enjoy meeting new friends.

The meeting is 7 pm at the Community Center. If you would like to attend, please send an email to morrisplainsasgc@gmail.com. New members are always welcome. We would love to have you join us.

Farmers Market Every Saturday 9-1

Only 4 more weeks!

pumpkin_pie.jpg

Fall is in the air! Ort Farms is offering the best of the late summer season, like corn and tomatoes, as well as pumpkins (already?).

It’s time to pickle and make preserves! Time to stock up on your favorites to put in the freezer for later! Only four more weeks of the market!

Olive pockets, croissants and scones from Hoboken Farms freeze well. Better have a few of Griggstown chicken pot pies for the colder months! You can also freeze the Zabka pierogies! I’ll be stocking up on Paolo’s wings – can’t get through the winter without them. Don’t forget to try the new pickles, too! JM Treats & Eats now offers homemade pop tarts!

  • This week we welcome Morris Plains and MHS Spirit Wear – want that T-Shirt “Morris Plains 07950”? Here’s your chance to purchase that and other local spirit wear!
  • The Morris Plains DEI Group will have a table at the market as well.
  • Cub Scouts Pack 233 is back with their popcorn and nut sales – please support our local scouts!
  • The MP Fire Association Ladies Auxiliary will be collecting personal care products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, tissues, socks, etc.) for the “First Night Kit” for Jersey Cares. Please be generous!
