Dear Saint Rose Families,

Today we celebrated St. Rose of Lima's Feast Day with a special Mass.  It was a wonderful celebration of Saint Rose's life and commitment
 to her faith.
Today was also the first time that kindergarten students joined us for the all school Mass.
They were seated
alongside their 8th grade buddies.  Pairing the kindergarten and 8th grade buddies up for Mass is something that we are experimenting with this year.  So far it is off to a great start.

Following Mass, the Pirates Parents Club sponsored a coffee for parents.  It was a beautiful day to gather outside in community.

We are excited to have our preschoolers back on campus. It is exciting to see their smiling faces each day.

I hope that your family is having a smooth transition back to school at Saint Rose.  Please let any of us know if we can assist you and your family in this transition.

Important Dismissal Request

Please stand away from the doors upon dismissal. It is difficult for students to exit the building and intimidating to kindergarten students with so many people near the exits.  Please stand on the sidewalk along the gym to wait for your child(ren).

Little Flowers Girls' Club® is a Catholic club for girls that teaches virtues through scripture, saints'  biographies and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Based on the 1906 Catholic classic "The Catholic Girls' Guide" by Fr. F.X. Lasance, and the spirituality of St. Thérése, the Little Flower of Liseux, this beautiful, authentically Catholic program, has delighted and instilled in girls a love of our Catholic Faith for over 25 years.

Each Little Flowers Girls' Club® year consists of studying a "wreath" consisting of nine virtues. Like a scouting program, girls earn a badge for each virtue. But unlike most scouting organizations, the girls learn and earn their badges through a distinctly Catholic lens. This Catholic to the Core program relies on the stories of the saints, Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Our group will meet monthly on Sundays at 6:00 in the St. Rose Church basement. Each meeting will review a Saint and a virtue. Our first meeting will be Sunday, August 26 at 6:00. We will be learning about St. Catherine of Siena and the virtue of Faith. We invite girls between the ages of 4 and 9 and their parent(s) to join us!

Please email
for more information or come to our first meeting!
