Introducing our Director of Student Activities

We continue to make strides in readying for the school year. Excitedly, I share we have hired our Director of Student Activities. Curran Sentilles started at the end of June and has worked diligently to get acquainted with all things, Sacred Heart student activity related. Curran has her undergraduate degree from Belmont Abbey and her graduate degree from Queens University of Charlotte. She is an alumni of Sacred Heart. She will bring writing, marketing, and various other experiences to the school. Curran’s passion for the school was evident in her interview, and her vision was clear. Please extend a warm welcome to Curran!

Open Forum Information

On Thursday July 14^th, the School Leadership Council (SLC) will be holding an open forum to discuss and brainstorm continued growth and enhancements at our school. While we remain very proud of our results through the past several years with solid success across all aspects of school life, the SLC and administration desires to ensure all stakeholders have an opportunity to voice their ideas and constructive suggestions. The information gathered from the forum will be used by the SLC and administration to provide directional guidance for the present through long-term planning.

The schedule will begin with Mass at 8:30am followed by refreshments and fellowship in Brincefield Hall with the forum beginning at 9:45 and will end no later than noon.

Used Uniform Sale

SALE SOON!

Our very popular used uniform sale is coming THIS Thursday, July 14th in the Art Room. If you have anything you would like to donate, please drop off to the school office by Wednesday morning. Enter the sale through the back door.

Flex Time: We Need YOU!

Volunteer: Share YOU!

Our Middle School students engage in flex classes on Fridays. Classes run from 1:45-2:50 for a four-week session. We have offered a range of courses such as sewing, building, cooking, and astronomy. Please think about what you love, your talents, and consider teaching our students. We think of this time as an opportunity to discover passions. Our volunteers makes this opportunity possible!

Totus Tuus

Camp at Sacred Heart

Totus Tuus is a Catholic summer youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic Faith through catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness and Eucharistic worship. The goal of Totus Tuus is to help young people grow in the understanding of, and strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church proudly offers Totus Tuus July 25-29 for students going into 1st grade through 12th grade. Please contact the church office to sign up for the program.

Get Ready for Splashing!

Splash Day Schedule

Please note that 5th grade day has been changed!

Splash Day is a day where everyone gets acquainted with school. Groups are small and there is an incredible teacher to student ratio during these days. All students should bring their school supplies with them on this day. We do not get wet on these days (splash is because we are dolphins), so wear your normal uniform. Splash day is getting ready for the big official first day and runs from 8:00 AM-Noon!
