A one-day training event, Cultivating Generous Congregations (CGC) will be offered for pastors and stewardship leaders on Friday, July 19, from 9:00am-4:00pm. Led by Colin Saxton of Everence Financial Services, this seminar will explore key assumptions, attitudes, and best practices in cultivating greater generosity in your church. The cost is $35 per church and includes lunch and the book, Bounty , which provides the teaching outline. In order to receive a copy of the resource book in advance, register at www.efcer.org/ym19/cgc by July 1. Payment from each church will be collected at the door.

May they bear fruit in every good work, grow in the knowledge of God, and be strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that they may have endurance and patience as they minister for God’s kingdom (Colossians 1:9-11).

 

Abe and Diane Bible - The Orthodox Church celebrates Easter this Sunday, April 28. Pray that God will bring a spiritual harvest through the efforts of God’s people and that hearts will be open to the Good News of God’s gospel (John 4:34-38).
