Welcome Home

A group of Friends were present to welcome Dave and Cindy Aufrance with posters, balloons, and prayers upon their arrival at the Columbus airport on Friday, August 7. The Aufrances completed over 40 years of missionary service in Hong Kong and will now be living in Baltimore, Ohio near their daughter and her family. If you would like to reach the Aufrances, please contact the EFC-ER office.

State of the Plate: Research on Church Giving & Pastor Care

We are inviting all of our churches and treasurers to participate in the nationwide State of the Plate research being conducted August 7 thru August 17. In addition to receiving the results of the research, you will also receive free Easy as 1-2-3 Bless Your Pastor materials for your church that can include a $250 Amazon Gift Card for Senior Pastors. All participants will receive access to the Bless Your Pastor materials and Financial Health resources.

Because August is a great time to alert churches to the free Bless Your Pastor materials and $250 gift card, we included this as a thank you gift for those who participate in the survey.

Prayer Request

Please pray for Voicu and Ana Marian in Romania that they may have energy and godly wisdom for the many unexpected visitors they receive. Ana writes that these visits are “great opportunities that can turn into hosting and counseling in our home for several days.” (Hebrews 13:2)

We extend our prayers and condolences to the family of Randy & Kathy Heckert on the passing of Kathy's father, Kermit Kibler on August 11, 2020 in Bucyrus, Ohio.
