Yearly Meeting - July 20-23, 2019, at First Friends Church in Canton, OH.
Dave and Cindy Aufrance - Praise God for His faithfulness at RiverGrace International Hong Kong Evangelical Church this past year. Pray for Dave and Cindy as they continue to mentor Pastor Tommy (2 Timothy 2:2) and also seek to identify a Spanish-speaking pastor to join their team to minister to their new Spanish-speaking congregation.
Prayers for the Church (1/7) - A prayer for unity and reconciliation (Dan Reiland)
"Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace, kindness, and mercy. We know that the foundation of reconciliation begins between you and each of us individually. But you have also called us to pursue reconciliation whenever we experience conflict or division with each other. Forgive us Father for the division we create in our churches. Help us to work through unresolved conflict and extend grace and kindness to one another. We ask that the unity of the Spirit would prevail so that we could live in such a way that brings glory to your name and bears fruit in the body of Christ."
EFM Missionaries David and Jonathan Howell
David and Jonathan Howell, EFM missionaries to Ireland, will be in Eastern Region during February and part of March.  Tricia and Moriah remain in Ireland this trip.  David and Tricia were formerly on staff at Hanover Friends before serving as missionaries with EFM. You can find out more about the Howells on their EFM page here .

The Howells are available to share in Sunday worship, mid-week studies, and small groups. (They would also enjoy family meals.)

We are looking for private or semi-private housing (e.g. apartment, in-law suite) for David and Jonathan while they are with us.

To schedule the Howells or offer lodging, please email Julie Jenkins at  [email protected] .

Quotes for the Week

"He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God] - yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from beginning to the end." - Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP)

"If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world." - C.S. Lewis
