EFM Missions Materials
As we continue to transition our EFC-ER foreign mission fields to the care and oversight of Evangelical Friends Mission (EFM), you may begin to receive some communications directly from the EFM office, both digitally and in print. We are glad to endorse EFM as our missions sending agency and to partner with them in the work of making disciples of Jesus around the world. You can find out more about EFM at www.friendmission.com .
Winona Friends Church and Van Wert Trinity Friends are seeking lead pastors . East Richland Evangelical Friends Church is looking for a youth pastor . Please contact Randy Heckert for more information about these positions.
Friends Youth United 2020 Update
Dear Youth Pastor/Leader,
I wanted to give you a final update regarding camp for 2020. Although the Governor of Ohio has cleared the way for overnight resident camps to open, we believe that the current restrictions, which include capacity limits, will not allow us to move forward with the kind of camp experience we want to create for our churches. As a result, Friends Youth United is canceled for this summer 2020.
I pray that your students and churches continue to see great growth through the summer as you plan, prepare, and pray towards the new school year. We cannot wait to come together again in July 2021. Please look for more information on that later this year and if you have any further questions, comments, and/or concerns, please let me know.
God Bless,
Youth Pastor, Damascus Friends Church
Please pray for Maria Giron who is now serving EFM as the Missions Mobilizer for Hispanic Friends. In this new role, Maria will mobilize and equip Hispanic Friends Churches in the United States to be engaged in the global efforts of EFM by praying, supporting, and sending workers into the harvest field.

Quote for the Week

"Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight." - Romans 12:9-16 (ESV)
