Mariamma Sam - Please pray for Mariamma as she continues ministry in South India after her husband’s death 16 months ago. “God is enabling me, at age 76, to preach and spread the gospel on the streets and visit the poor and needy… especially widows. Please pray for my health…I love the Lord and want to continue my husband's ministry till the day I die. God has commanded us to preach the good news.” (2 Tim 4:1-2)

Being On Mission - Pray for the Western and Central Ohio area gathering at Shiloh Church this Saturday (March 9). This equipping event will focus on ways our churches can be more intentional in reaching their communities. Pray that God will empower his church to be His witnesses in fresh new ways. (Acts 1:8)

Haiti Update - William Bertrand reports that the turmoil in Haiti has subsided. We praise our Lord who hears and answers prayers.
One-Day Equipping Workshop - March 9 at Shiloh Chapel Friends Church
Our mission as EFC-ER is to equip churches to make disciples, and our vision is to produce healthy, Christ-centered churches that produce disciples.

One way we seek to equip you and your church to make disciples is by sharing what it means to live missionally - to minister in the communities in which you worship, live, work, and play. The Church Health Team is hosting one-day equipping workshops in different areas throughout EFC-ER for church pastors, elders, staff members, and leaders. These events include practical, hands-on teaching as well as discussion about the things that are already working well in your church.

Visit  www.efcer.org/oneday to find out more and to register for this equipping workshop.

Quote for the Week

Psalm 103:13-18 New Living Translation (NLT)
"The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust. Our days on earth are like grass;   like wildflowers, we bloom and die. The wind blows, and we are gone—as though we had never been here.   But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him."
