Pastors Conference 2019
Pastors and spouses gathered at the Edgewater Hotel and Conference Center in Gatlinburg, TN on May 6-10, 2019. The conference featured times of "Scripture-fed, Spirit-led, worship-based prayer," according to Kenny Hagin, lead pastor of Deerfield Friends Church. Eric Love, lead pastor of Raisin Center Friends Church, appreciated the way Daniel Henderson instructed the group to use Scripture to pray. Erik Marshall, Associate Pastor at Friends Church: Willoughby Hills said, "I love that it was applicable for all of us, no matter the size or context of our churches. I sensed a unique unity in that we all were learning and reflecting together." Kelsey Bohler, Director of Worship Ministries at Orange Friends Church, expressed that the most impactful part of Pastors Conference was "getting to actually experience transformational prayer rather than only learning about how it's done." Ed Walsh, EFC-ER Ministry Director of Church Health and Finance & Administration said that Daniel Henderson was sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and there was a good ushering in of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

David and Cindy Aufrance - Pray for Dave and Cindy as they establish a transition plan from over 44 years of ministry in Hong Kong. Pray for RiverGrace church and for Pastor Tommy as he assumes greater responsibility, their search for a Spanish-speaking pastor to join their team, and identifying new ministry leaders (2 Timothy 2:2).

Diane Bible  – Thank you for praying for Diane. Tests revealed a vertebrae is pressing against an artery in her neck. Please pray for healing (Exodus 15:26b) and their time in the U.S. over the next few months.

Quote for the Week

"All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God."
 - 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 (ESV)
