National Day of Prayer 2020
May 7 is the National Day of Prayer . Join others across the United States in prayer for our nation as we pray that "the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14, NIV).

We posted resources shared from Strategic Renewal on Facebook this week. You can still take advantage of the materials here. Download the one-page prayer guide here.
COVID-19 Resources
Injoy Stewardship Solutions has provided a Basic Restart Plan for Churches written by one of their partner churches that addresses which ministry departments might open in each of the four phases recommended by the White House COVID-19 Task Force. They have also shared a Returning to your Church Building document written by Linda Wilkins at Georgia Baptist. It addresses how to prepare and execute safety measures for multiple areas of your ministry once you re-open for worship.

The Christian Law Association has provided a document with Suggested Guidelines for Reopening Churches .
Please pray for Pastor Mathias Ntiruvakure and his family. They had a fire at their home on Tuesday, April 28. The family escaped with no injuries, but there is a great deal of smoke and water damage in the house. Mathias serves as the pastor of the Louisville, KY Evangelical Friends Church (Central East African).
The family of John Wesley Morris invite you to celebrate his 90th birthday on Tuesday, May 12, by filling up his mailbox with birthday wishes. Cards and letters may be sent to John Morris, 227 E. Newell St., West Liberty, OH 43357. He previously served at Friends Churches in Salem SE, Hughesville, Mansfield, Beloit, Van Wert, Rollin, and Springfield.

Congratulations to Ed and Brenda Walsh with the birth of their grandsons, Caleb and James, born April 21.
