Friends Summit 2018
Friends Summit is a national conference for young adults to experience how the reality of God’s kingdom is calling the Friends Church in mission and engaging us with passion. Summit is designed around conversations that will celebrate and fuel the movement, including engaging worship sessions, to quiet moments of prayer, teaching, discussion groups, and time with friends.

Summit is designed for young adults ages 16-25 who are emerging leaders who desire to follow Jesus and want to see His redeeming Kingdom on Earth, wish to take the next steps to grow in the way they serve and lead within the church and community, and are willing to imagine with others what the Friends Church could become for future generations.

Find out more and register at www.friendssummit.com .
Is your church hosting a fall festival or outreach event? We would love to hear about it! Please send pictures and stories to Julia McDonald at jmcdonald@efcer.org so we can celebrate how God is using your church to reach your community!
Students from Malone University joined together with other Friends churches, including Deerfield Friends Church, to collect donated items for people impacted by Hurricane Florence. The students drove to Portsmouth First Friends Church in Portsmouth, VA to deliver the items. Pastor Kolbi Shartzer and team will take the supplies to Raleigh, NC this week where they will be distributed to people impacted by Hurricane Florence. Read the Malone News Brief here . Quote for the Week
"Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since He who promised is faithful. And let us watch out for one another to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching."
- Hebrews 10:23-25 (CSB)
