EFC-ER Missions Materials
We are in the process of creating resources for your church to use to share about EFC-ER mission work. Over the next few weeks you will receive four different files that can be used as bulletin inserts, hand-outs, etc.

Pastors, be sure to check your emails for a new insert each week. You can always find missions materials and information about our missionaries at www.efcer.org/missions .

Thank you for partnering with us to support our missionaries who are the sharing the Gospel of Christ around the world!
October is Pastor Appreciation Month
A woman once asked her husband why he never says “I love you." He replied, “I said so on our wedding day, and that if anything changed I’d let you know!"

Make it a point to express your love and appreciation for EFC-ER pastors this month … and throughout the year. They never grow tired of hearing it!

- Randy Heckert, EFC-ER Ministry Director
Deerfield Friends Church hosted their third annual fall festival (pictured below) on Saturday, September 29, 2018. They shared on Facebook: "What an incredible weekend we had! Yesterday we hosted our annual Fall Festival - we had an amazing turnout and were privileged to serve our community. All who came got to enjoy a number of fun fall activities, and a good time was had by everyone who joined us! We were blessed yesterday and today by Tonja Rose and her wonderful music. She encouraged us this morning during service and sang beautifully to her Lord. We’re so grateful for everything we got to experience this weekend and we can’t wait to see what God will keep doing!"
September 30 was Malone Sunday at Jackson Friends Church (pictured below). President Dr. David King gave an update of Malone University. He spoke of partnership, education, spiritual formation & transformation. Pastor Dan Frost, a graduate of Cleveland Bible College was interviewed by Dr. Dave Tebbs, Lead Pastor at JFC. The Boanerges, Malone University, circa 1976, including Paul Anderson, Dave Burch, Watson Cosand, Jeff Nichols, Ron Jenkins, and David Tebbs, were in town for Malone's Homecoming and shared several songs. Finally, Dr. Paul Anderson from George Fox University shared a message about the Spiritually of Jesus.

Abe and Diane Bible - Please pray that God will burden the 30 men coming to the evangelism conference October 5-6 with a desire to share God’s word with great zeal. Pray for a spiritual awakening in the Ukraine. Pray that Abe and fellow worker Roman will speak to the hearts of these men and that God’s Kingdom will expand (Matthew 6:10).

Ben and Charity Kibbe  - “We have received reports from multiple trusted sources of major persecution of believers in the Wa state in northeast Myanmar (Burma). The Wa army is destroying church buildings, closing other churches, and has “arrested” 92 pastors. They have taken the pastors to another city and allowed them to stay with other believers under a house arrest while they question them. These churches are made up of Wa, Lahu, and Akha people. Please join us on October 7th for a day of fasting and prayer for this situation (Matthew 5:10-12).
