Please pray for DFC Canton , a new campus of Damascus Friends Church, which is meeting at Malone University. Their first "pop-up service" was attended by over 240 people (pictured right). This new work is being led by campus pastors Jamie and Erin Roten. Pray that God would use DFC Canton to reach young adults at Malone and the surrounding community (Isaiah 43:19).
Evangelical Friends Mission Fall Offering
The EFM 2019 Fall Offering, “Pressing Towards the Goal,” information is available  here . 

This year’s offering features seven missionaries, fields, and ministries that are currently underfunded. The  goal is to increase monthly or regular ongoing commitments of giving for these ministries.  

You can be part of this effort by making a commitment to support as many of these ministries as the Lord leads you to support through your prayers, financial gifts, and encouraging words.
Missional Engagement Grants Available
Missional Engagement Grants provide EFC-ER churches with financial resources to expand their outreach through current projects or new ventures to influence others with the love of Jesus Christ.

Grants are available to churches with a budget of less than $100,000, who wish to reach out to others through revivals, VBS, a clothing boutique, community garden, tutoring program or other missional outreach projects.

Churches may apply   here . Grants of up to $500 will be provided based on the availability of funds.

A Shout-Out to Our Volunteers
Over the past several weeks, volunteers have been lending a hand at the front desk of the Evangelical Friends Headquarters. Thank you, Martha Edwards, Kim Knowles, Joyce Sams, and Brenda Walsh! These ladies have been a tremendous help as they have given their time to keep things running smoothly in the office. 

If you would like to volunteer occasionally to stuff envelopes, answer the phone, greet guests, make lunch runs during meetings, etc., please contact Julie Jenkins.
