Update: The Department of Treasury announced a simplified forgiveness process for smaller pandemic aid loans. Businesses that borrowed $50,000 or less from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) can sign a one-page document attesting that the money was spent as required by the program and the loans will be forgiven. The loan will be fully forgiven if the funds are used for payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities (due to likely high subscription, at least 60% of the forgiven amount must have been used for payroll). For more Loan Details and Forgiveness details including FAQ's, visit SBA page here.
