On Wednesday, PVCC Chairman Bob Clark hosted a Board Social Retreat at the Chamber office to discuss the role of board directors, outline 2021 goals and give us all a chance to get to know each other better. During Icebreakers BINGO, we discovered there are no left-handed board directors, a few directors love to sing karaoke and many own pets! Just a few of the fun facts we discovered about our leadership team!
PA lifted coronavirus mitigation measures on Memorial Day! If you haven't been fully vaccinated, you are still required to wear a mask in any public place. Also, many businesses still require masking, so be sure to read the businesses guidance posted before entering. Hospitals and other health care providers still require masking. For more information, visit the CDC website.

The Speaker's House Plant Sale
June 5, 2021
9am - 1pm
|
Many of our plants have spread, and we are excited to share our extras! We will have salvia, yarrow, tansy, peppermint, feverfew, lemonbalm, horehound, oregano, chives, soapwort, love-in-a-mist, lamb's ear, and more! These plants will be available in individual pots for transplant, or larger planters ready to display at your home!
A dry spring combined with some critter concerns (groundhogs eating our tomatoes and some veggie plants!) has delayed the start of our farm stand this year, but we plan to reopen on Saturday June 19th. At the plant sale, though, we will have our homemade horseradish spread for sale, along with fresh herbs.
