A Message From The Chamber Office
|
|
Dear Chamber Members and Friends,
One year ago, our region was being put under mitigation guidance by the State. We had no way of knowing the duration and impact this would have on commerce, families, and our own well-being. My heart is filled with gratitude for our health care workers, leaders, colleagues and friends that pulled together to help us all weather this storm. Darkness is giving way to light, and collectively we can be encouraged by what's to come as well as what has been endured. We have proven this past year, that by working TOGETHER, the Perkiomen Valley region and beyond, can rebuild, be more inclusive and stronger and that we will PREVAIL!
Be sure to mark your calendar for the PV Chamber's Annual Meeting on March 31st. Since the meeting we be held on Zoom, members are invited to cast their online vote in the General Election of PVCC Board Directors. We look forward to recognizing new members and sponsors, Chairman's Awards, presentation of Marvin J. Lewis Community Service Award to Mayor Joe Giunta, and David Zellers keynote address, "MontcoStrong – From Resiliency to a Prosperous Future”.
Our First Annual Shredding Event will take place on Saturday, March 27th in the parking lot at PV Middle School East, Collegeville. This event is a great opportunity to showcase your business to the community - become a sponsor and get recognized on weekly enews, event publications, signage and more! Businesses are encouraged to register for goody bag participation - add your promotional items (coupons, pens, logo items, etc) to 200 goody bags to be distributed to event attendees!
The Chamber is seeking members to join the 2021 Events & Fundraising Committee. The Events Committee will help create, plan and execute exceptional events tailored toward producing member engagement and fundraising efforts.
