Sign Up for Summer Suppers!
This summer we'll be organizing summer supper groups to have fun and get to know more members of the congregation.

Just sign up to participate and we'll put everyone into groups. Each group will meet once in June, once in July, and once in August.

The suppers can be potluck dinners at someone's home or out at a restaurant. The group will decide where to go and what to do.

Sunday, May 7th following worship in the Assembly Room
On Sunday, following worship, join the youth in the Assembly Room during community hour to enjoy a nice cup of Costa Rican Grown café -- get a taste of beans and rice and fresh fruit as well! Our youth will be sharing a photo slide show and hosting an information table! Be sure to come and hear from our youth about our week long service trip!

The New Database is Coming!
We are slowly transitioning into Realm, our new database. Realm is part of the ACS family but is more intuitive and easier to navigate.

You may have already noticed that you are unable to access the church online directory. You will be receiving (or already have) an email from Realm regarding privacy changes (which is part of the updating process). Once the system is in place, you will be able to adjust your privacy settings.

The staff is currently being trained. Once the staff has been trained and testing is complete, we will be rolling it out to members. To assist members, we will schedule some trainings.

Stay tuned! And we appreciate your patience.
Senior Ministry Tea Time & Tech Tutorial
Come Get Tech Updated
May 8th - 1:30pm Reception Room
Let’s get together and learn a few tricks on our computers and phones while enjoying refreshments and each other.

We’ll explore how to:
•  order prints of the images currently on our phones… (yes, finally: real prints of those cute grandchildren!)
• explore the world of podcasts
• listen to music and books on your phone or computer
• borrow materials from the Public Library,
•  “back up” our computers.
• and share our favorite “aps”

A TOAST TO FRIENDSHIP
May 13th 6-8pm
How about a Mocktail Party instead?

A few key people are putting together a comprehensive alcohol policy for the church which includes new Wellesley Town Regulations as well as considering issues of liability through a detailed review of our insurance policy. One of the new town regulations is that a 1-day license to serve alcohol must be applied for 30 days in advance of the event. As we don’t have 30 days and Parish Life continues to want to hold an event where we can “toast new and old friends”, this non-alcoholic event will serve a few signature mocktails.

So, invite a friend to join us, bring an hors d’oeuvre to share, come ready to listen to lively music, and we will make you a unique and refreshing mocktail and serve you some delicious desserts.
