Religious Education News
Unitarian Universalist Church of Canton
RE Mission
Our religious education program works to create an accepting environment that empowers children and youth to explore their spirituality, celebrate diversity, and live our Unitarian Universalist values.
Family Ministry
We believe that families play a vital role in furthering this empowerment to explore and live our UU values. We are excited to support our families by offering ideas from the UUA's Tapestry of Faith program as well as graces and thought provoking questions related to the topics introduced during Sunday religious education classes. We hope you find this enjoyable and spiritually fulfilling for you and your whole family.
In RE Next Week
Our children and youth will rehearse for the Religious Education Worship Service scheduled for Sunday, June 9.  C heck for details on our Facebook Page and website .

For the Week of May 26, 2019
A Table Grace:
Thank you for this food we'll eat,
Thank you for this meet and greet,
Thank you for the hands that hold
the pots and the mixing bowl.
A Chalice Lighting:
All around us the light is shining early and late.
The trees are no longer skeletons but have living flesh.
The fields are green shooting forth with life.
And so, we light our chalice knowing we are in the presence of abundant light pouring onto us and bursting from within us.
May the following deepen and inspire your faith during the week ahead.

Contemplation Topic
During a shared meal with family or friends or as part of a contemplative practice, ponder the following: "Laughter is an instant vacation." ~ Milton Berle
What makes you laugh?

Join Our Marching Band :  This year, for the second time ever, we are bringing together many friends and LGBTQ allies in the community to form a band to march in this year's Dairy Princess parade. We will play a fun and simple arrangement of We Are Family .  Learn more by clicking on the link above.

UU Humor: Click on the link for some jokes and funny stories about UU like "Why did the UU cross the road?  To support the chicken in its search for its own path.".
