in-person kids ministry!

We have a high quality and safe kids ministry service for your 8-week through 5th grade children available during our 9am service. We are not able to offer an 11:00am service yet.

We would love to be able to offer another service of Kids Ministry, however, we are in need of Ministry Partners to help make this happen. Our different teams for Kids Ministry include Welcome Team, Baby Blvd, Preschool Small Group Leaders, and Elementary Small Group Leaders. If you have an interest in serving on any of these teams and would like more information, please contact Erin Couillard, Kids Ministry Director, at erin@crosswinds.church.

Our Kids Points Program is designed to help motivate kids to dig deeper in their personal relationship with God. Each week, kids have the opportunity to earn points for completing tasks such as scripture memory, completing and returning God Time cards, memorizing books of the Bible, as well as just showing up for Kids Ministry services! Points can be redeemed for rewards such as candy, water bottles, toys, gift certificates and passes, and more!

Each month, kids will be given the opportunity to memorize five verses. Kids will have the entire month to learn these verses. Here are January's verses:

Luke 16:10a - "Suppose you can be trusted with something very little. Then you can be trusted with something very large."
Colossians 3:2 - "Think about things that are in heaven. Don’t think about things that are only on earth."
1 John 5:3 - "In fact, here is what it means to love God. We love him by obeying his commands. And his commands are not hard to obey."
Luke 6:31 - "Do to others as you want them to do to you.”
1 Corinthians 10:31 - "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

If you are not comfortable or unable to return with us for our 9:00am service this weekend, that is okay! Below you will find some things that are very familiar to your child and resources to help you have a fun "kids service" in your home. Depending on your child's age, check out the "parent guide." You can then watch the included teaching videos and leverage the activities and God Time Cards for family spiritual growth.

For your reference, "First Look" is our preschool curriculum, "Elementary" is geared toward K-3, and "Preteen" targets 4th and 5th grade, but is also appropriate for 3rd grade.
