We are looking forward to having our Blazers back in the building with us tomorrow, Monday, January 8 at 8:00 am. 


Updates for Block 2 Final Exams: (Thursday and Friday, January 11-12)

Students must wear their uniforms on exam days. 


Exam schedule: 

Thursday, January 11 

Standard Time Testers  

  • Exam Period 4 8:00-9:25
  • Break 9:25-9:42  
  • Exam Period 5 9:42-11:07

Extended Time Testers

  • Exam Period 4 8:00-10:08
  • Break 10:08-10:25 
  • Exam Period 5 10:25-12:33

Friday, January 12

Standard Time Testers 

  • Exam Period 1 8:00-9:25
  • Break 9:25-9:42  
  • Exam Period 2 9:42-11:07

Extended Time Testers :

No food service on exam days 

  • The cafeteria will remain closed on exam days. 
  • Students are welcome to bring a snack from home to eat between the 2 final exam sessions.

 

Trinity transportation on exam days  

  • Trinity buses will run on the final exam days. The buses will depart school at 11:17 am each day. 
  • Extended-time testers will need to arrange for their own transportation home on final exam days.


Reminder about the New Cell phone and Smartwatch Policy: 

Students may not have a cell phone or smartwatch in any examination room. They must leave their devices in their lockers. If a student has a phone or watch with her during an exam she is in danger of receiving a zero on her block exam.


Attendance during block exams 

  • All students (with the exception of seniors who have exempted) are required to attend all final exam periods. 
  • If a student is ill for a final exam, a parent / guardian must call in to report the absence. 
  • A make up exam will be scheduled on Tuesday, January 16 with the student’s counselor.


Attendance policy for seniors who have exempted exams 

  • Seniors who have exempted an exam do not need to report to school at the time of the exam they have exempted. 
  • If a senior would like to be at school during an exam time, she may come and remain in the library. Seniors must sign in and out of the library. 


Grade posting for block 2: 

  • Blackbaud will not be visible to students or families from January 11 to January 23.
  • Grades for block 2 will be posted on Blackbaud on Tuesday, January 23 at noon.    


Days off for students: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, January 15-17

There will be no class for students on Monday, January 15 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, on Tuesday, January 16 for a Grading Day for faculty, and on Wednesday, January 17 for a Faculty and Staff Retreat. 


Beginning of Block 3: Thursday, January 18

Block 3 will begin at 8:00 am on Thursday, January 18.

Cell phone and Smartwatch Policy: New


We have added an additional policy to ensure academic integrity during block exams. Students may not have a cell phone or smartwatch in any examination room. They must leave their devices in their lockers. If a student has a phone or watch with her during an exam she is in danger of receiving a zero on her block exam. This policy has, and will be communicated to students until the beginning of the exam session. 

Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance Applications are now available for the 2024-2025 school year. The applications are available here. The deadline for completing the application is March 3, 2024.

AGAIN TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN AWARD FOR 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR.

Join us for a night of fun and compete against the returning champs - the faculty, The Know It Alls!

Registration is open - sign up today online or send in your registration form. Sign up for a full table or as individuals and we will put you at a table. We expect over 200 guests on this night. Invite friends, prospective Trinity parents, and family!

Time to purchase books for Block 3


Can you believe we’re nearing the end of block 2 already? Block 3 will require new textbooks for new courses; please check with your Blazers to see what is needed for the second semester.  It is imperative that students have textbooks in hand on the first day of classes, January 18, 2024.

Seeking Trinity Bus Driver for 2024-25 School Year


Trinity is seeking a driver for Trinity's multi-purpose vehicles for morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off for the 2024-25 school year. Interested candidates should contact Director of Marketing Patti Williams at 708.453.8342 or email [email protected].

Drop-off Instructions

Students may not be dropped off or picked up on Lathrop OR Division. This causes safety hazards for our students as well as traffic issues. The River Forest Police Department patrols the main entrance and will issue tickets.
