Course Selection for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

Students will meet with their school counselors during the months of January and February to make their course selections for the upcoming academic year. In the coming weeks, you will receive additional information regarding the academic planning and advisement sessions your students will take part in. Trinity High School's 2024-2025 Curriculum Guide, which includes essential academic information relevant for long term planning, will be accessible to you and your student in early January.

Senior Exemptions

Seniors may be eligible to exempt their block exams in some of their classes. In order to exempt an exam the following conditions must be met:

  • Be enrolled in a College Prep class (there are no exemptions in IB classes)
  • Be enrolled in a class in which exemptions are permitted (Exemptions are up to teacher discretion)
  • Have a minimum average of 93% in the class, determined by Wednesday, Dec. 20th
  • Not be on attendance, behavior or academic probation
  • Not have any unpaid financial obligations

If students' grades go below 93% or if their absences exceed more than 5 in the last week of the block, exemptions will be cancelled. Please note that teachers will inform seniors via email if they have exempted their exam. All questions on exemptions should be directed to the teacher.
