who received 2nd place in the Archdiocesan Student Art Exhibition at the La Salle University Art Museum. The museum works from more than 100 Archdiocesan high school students were on display in the Art Museum’s new Community Art Gallery. Staff from the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Division of Art Education and La Salle faculty and staff served as jurors for the student art exhibition. Awards were given for the best artwork in each of the following categories: printmaking and photography, graphic design, painting, drawing, mixed media, and three-dimensional art.
Evan Coury
competed in the Rising Stars Program at Drexel University. Evan created pants with an extension for the growing boy in your life. It was a great idea for a young entrepreneur. Evan presented the idea and concept to a room of judges and other young “budding” entrepreneurs. He received a certificate of recognition. Never Give up on your dreams, Congrats Evan!
It is a great time to be a “Lion” and we are proud of each and every one of our students. Keep plugging away!

Jimmy White
was named MVP for Catholic League in Baseball.
· Our Rugby Club will be playing for the State Championship on Saturday, May 18.
A lot of exciting things are happening at Cardinal O’Hara. Be sure to come out and support the efforts of our Lions. Most importantly, it is the end of the school year and students need to be diligent in their academic pursuits.
The exam schedule will be posted on the website soon. Students should be studying every night in preparation for the finals

Our Fine Arts department will be hosting an evening of vocal music, band and artwork displayed on Tuesday, May 21
st
beginning at 6:30PM.
Lastly to our parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting your child to us at COHS. It is truly a pleasure being a part of this school.
