Sunflowers Looking Toward Ukraine
The photo above shows the field of sunflowers that Louis & Holly Aragi planted at their Pine Island Farm this spring with the plan to sell them and donate the proceeds to help Ukrainians impacted by the war.

Sale of the flowers will be donated to the First Church in Marlborough's continuing special offering for Ukraine. Your donations to the special offering earlier this year have already had a direct impact on Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Please consider purchasing the flowers to help them now that attention to the war has waned.

The sunflowers will be on sale at this week's Farmers' Market and on Saturday from 9-1 at Pine Island Farm, at the intersection of Rt.'s 7a &7.

Stop by. Support the work of Love.

Appalachian Trail Ministry

So far this season 585 hikers have found rest, renewal and much needed nourishment under our tent.
When our group arrived at the Trail Magic site on Monday, we discovered a hiker who had spent the night there in his hammock. He found some rest under the stars - which he experienced as magnificent. Then lo-and-behold breakfast arrived - what a fabulous surprise!
Volunteer With Us
Christ Trinity and First Congregational will host Trail Magic on M-W-F through August 12. There are still open spots for you to volunteer. If you'd like access to the Shared Google Sheets to sign up, contact Jen in the church office on Wed/Friday afternoons (just reply to this email).
