From the COVID-19 Team
Our COVID-19 Team is very pleased with the the cooperation of the students, teachers and staff of O'Hara. Keep up the great work! Just a reminder that home baked goods are not permitted to be sold or distributed to students due to health and safety concerns. This includes bake sales, celebrations, and other fundraising events.
October 5th was World Teacher Day. We are very blessed at O'Hara to have the best faculty. They are doing an incredible job reaching our students both in the classroom and online. Thank you to our teachers! #Lion4Life

Join the Mothers' and Fathers' Club
"One of the greatest gifts you can give is your time."
Cardinal O'Hara parents are actively engaged in the school community. The Mothers' and Fathers' Club works to support the many events, programs and services that O'Hara offers. They work with the school to support its overall mission as an educational community steeped in the values of pride, excellence and tradition.
The 2020-21 school year is impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to safely socially distance. However, we still need parent and volunteer support and we will do what we can virtually as well as follow all health and safety policies with events.
We invite all parents and guardians to volunteer as much as they are able. Please review the variety of opportunities and register to volunteer: Reach out to Jen Tuberosa ( or Michelle O'Hanlon ( with questions.

Important PSAT Information
Dear Families of 10th and 11th Grade Students:

We will be administering the PSAT/NMSQT again this year to juniors and sophomores on October 14, 2020. The College Board does not afford the opportunity to take this test virtually so all students must be on campus to take the test. As a result, all sophomores and juniors, regardless of your group designation should attend school on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 to take the PSAT.

Students will be assigned by group in socially-distanced rooms. Masks must be worn at all times and students must remain socially-distanced. Students should bring at least 2 #2 pencils, and a calculator.

Please enter by the East Entrance where your temperature will be taken. You must complete the Wellness Check Form prior to arriving on campus.

Students must arrive by 7:55 AM and dismissal will be 12 PM.

The PSAT provides great practice for standardized testing, serves to identify areas of needed growth and strength, and can be used to better prepare for the SAT. For the juniors, it also serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship. Additionally, the results of this test influence decisions about our curriculum and course offerings.

Please note that October 14 is the only day we are administering the PSAT. There is no make up date. College Board does not allow late testing either so students must arrive on time for the testing.
