February 2021
S&R of the Sun
In this month's newsletter I identify and explain the responsibility of both the large quantity generator (LQG) and small quantity generator (SQG) to conduct weekly inspections of hazardous waste containers in a central accumulation area (CAA).

But there's more...

Back in 2016 the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) mandated new entry-level driver training (ELDT) for certain drivers with CDLs. The compliance date was originally February 07, 2020! However, it was later extended until February 07, 2022. There are several articles below that will help you to learn about this upcoming rule.

Also, check out my Q&A's and FAQ's below for answers to questions you may wish to ask.

Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) Mandated by FMCSA for Certain Drivers of Commercial Motor Vehicles
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) mandated new entry-level driver training (ELDT) in 2016 with a compliance date of February 2020. It then delayed that compliance date until February of 2022; you still have time! But who is subject to the new training? Who can provide the training? And what training is required? Read about it here.
