Embracing Change With the Wonder of All That Is Possible
The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is excited to announce that the 16th annual East Bay Women's Conference will take place on
Monday, March 1, 2021.
Reservations will go online October 1, 2020.
The team behind the East Bay Women's Conference (EBWC) has enjoyed staying connected with you during the summer with our Beyond the Conference series. Just like the rest of the world, we needed to adapt, adjust, pivot, and make some unexpected changes. Therefore, we have decided to move the 2021 EBWC to a virtual format. Given the current health crisis, and the uncertainty that the upcoming months bring, this is the right decision. We are excited that technology enables us to still bring the EBWC community together for this much anticipated day of enrichment. Drawing inspiration from last year's event, Wow! Wonder of Women, we look forward to expanding our program, furthering our reach, and embracing this new challenge with the wonder of all that is possible!

Thank you to all of our
2020 East Bay Women's Conference Sponsors.

To make inquiries about the Conference or 2021 Conference Sponsorship, please contact EBWC Founder Marcie Hochhauser at mhoch@walnut-creek.com.

S.O.S From Our Member & Local Salons
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
After months of closures, salons & barbershops across the state of California ask for your help in reopening. California remains the ONLY state where salons are mandated to remain closed, or solely operate outdoors. It is a fact that all hair salons and all licensed hair professionals have been extensively trained in delivering safety and sanitation as an important aspect of their jobs. Read more and Sign the Save our Salons petition here.
Public Art Scavenger Hunt
Looking for a social distancing activity to do downtown? Try the Public Art Scavenger Hunt. The Hunt is approximately a mile starting at Civic Park and ending at Lesher Center for the Arts. All the art is outside and be found by reading the clues and looking all around for the art. All who enter will be eligible to win the grand prize of an Ipad in February 2021. For complete details, click here or call 925-322-6427 and press the scavenger hunt button on the screen.
