A note from the Vestry and Clergy regarding Holy Week

Friends, there will be a few changes this year to which we call your attention. They are as follows:

Maundy Thursday
No soup supper this year. We will, however, have the Holy Eucharist, foot washing, and stripping of the altar, as per the liturgy for Maundy Thursday. These will all take place in the church, starting at 7:30 pm.

Easter Vigil
Cancelled. Our colleagues at St. John's are not available to be with us this year nor is Tami, so we will cancel the service for this year. It will return next year.

Easter Brunch
Modified.  We acknowledge the Easter brunch has been a highlight each year, but many of the Hospitality Committee members will be away, and we no longer have the budget to cover the expense of an all-out brunch. There will be an enhanced coffee hour, so please do plan to attend.

THE EASTER EGG HUNT WILL TAKE PLACE.  IT IS NOT IMPACTED BY THESE CHANGES.
Confirmation, Reception, Reaffirmation

On both Saturday, April 13 AND April 27 from 9 am to 4 pm, Carol will be teaching the history of Christianity through the development of the Anglican Church, to the  founding of the Episcopal Church, to the polity of the Episcopal Church. All you need to bring is your lunch. This class is for anyone who wants to know more about who we are and an opportunity to learn as much about the Episcopal Church as possible in a day. Everyone is invited, and the class is especially appropriate for those who wish to be confirmed, received, or reaffirmed in the Episcopal Church on Sunday, May 5th at 4 pm.

If you are planning on being confirmed, received or reaffirmed, please let Carol know so she may add your name to the list of those who are being confirmed on May 5.
