Advent Waiting
Sunday, November 26 at 10:30 a.m.
Led by Dr. David Lauber
In Psalm 62:1-2 David declares, “For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.”
In preparation for the season of Advent, this class explores the theme of waiting and watching, with patience and even in silence. We will examine the conditions of our society and lives that make waiting and silence so difficult, especially during this time of year. And we will discover together the necessity, purpose, and blessings of patient and hopeful waiting for the coming of the Lord.
