Summer Sermon Series

Growing Season: Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit

Summer is a season of growth. Gardens flourish, crops mature, and fruit begins to appear. In the same way, the Holy Spirit works within believers to cultivate a Christ-shaped life. The fruit of the Spirit is not a list of achievements but the natural result of a life rooted in God's grace. Throughout this nine-week series, we will explore how the Spirit grows these qualities in us and how they shape our work, witness, and walk with Jesus.

Help Restock the PRC Food Pantry

During this week’s severe storms, the People’s Resource Center food pantry in Wheaton lost power and was forced to discard nearly three tons of refrigerated and frozen food.

You can help the pantry restock by making a financial gift or donating fresh produce. Current needs include avocados, clementines, corn, bell peppers, onions, and watermelon. See their
donation hours or donate funds online. Thank you for your generosity to our most vulnerable neighbors!

Memorial Tree Dedication

On Sunday, August 16, we will dedicate a tree planted on the church grounds in memory of beloved deacon, Alan Konfirst, who passed away in 2025.

The brief dedication ceremony will take place in front of the Parish House at 11:45 a.m., immediately following the 10:30 worship service. All are invited to join us as we remember Alan with gratitude and honor his faithful service to our church community. Thank you to all deacons, past and present, whose donations made this memorial possible.
