Mission Focus: What we can learn about
Matthew 25 from a south side Chicago church plant
Leader: Rev. Mike Miller
Sundays through September 26
10:30 a.m. in Stewart Hall 102
For our first Adult Education series back on Sunday mornings, we welcome Pastor Mike Miller to lead a three-part class on the PC(USA)’s Matthew 25 initiative. As a Matthew 25 church, driven by our Mission Committee, we are called to work toward building congregational vitality, dismantling structural racism, and eradicating systemic poverty. As an ordained Presbyterian Minister leading a church plant on the south side of Chicago (, Pastor Mike is facing each of these challenges head-on. During this series you’ll learn how we can navigate these issues theologically, biblically, and in turn, “grow in your life with Jesus Christ.”

The Nominating Committee is now accepting submissions for consideration for the offices of Deacon, Elder and 2022 Nominating Committee.

Do you know someone who exhibits the skills, compassion and drive to serve in one of these positions? You can submit names of members and/or your own name by filling out the online Nomination Form. Printed forms are available in the pews. Nominations are due by Sunday, October 3.
