Sermon Series: 1 Chronicles: A Living History

This series explores the history and theology of the book of 1 Chronicles. Through understanding the context and audience, we can understand the role God plays in history and our heritage, the importance of worship, and the importance of leading by example in the virtues that are a part of a godly life.

This Week: 1 Chronicles 9:1; 10:13; Ezra 6:14–15
Communion This Sunday – Communion elements will be provided to those worshipping in person. In preparation for receiving communion at home, we encourage you to gather your favorite bread and a small cup of juice in advance of the 10:30 a.m. livestream start time. In the event that you are unable to collect your own elements, just participate as you are able.

Learn how our current story finds resonance in the story of the early church. Join Pastor Kellen for this weekly in-person summer study of the Book of Acts, which chronicles the origins of the church. In many ways, as we emerge out of a long Covid season, the church’s ministries are beginning again. Like the early church, the church of 2021 is being born anew.

  • Wheels in the Lot Family Event – Mark your calendar for our next summer family event on Friday, August 13 at 5:00 p.m.
Genesis – Middle School Ministry
  • Genesis Summer Sundays for middle schoolers at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Join us in Stewart Hall for fellowship, donuts, games and a Bible lesson.

WF – High School Ministry
  • WF Youth Group – ***NOTE: The Sunday, August 1 WF event will not be held. Check your emails for rescheduling information.
Last day to drop off items for the School Supply Drive is this Friday, July 30

You can help children get off to a good start this school year by donating school supplies to help support local children in need. This annual mission effort is a blessing to families who are in need during this time.

Shopping may be done at any store of your choosing – A general supply list has been created to help you with your purchases. Items most needed are spiral notebooks, folders, pens and sharpened pencils.

Supplies may be dropped off in the Rotunda from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. today and tomorrow, and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Financial contributions are still being accepted. Please designate "School Supply Drive” in the memo.
