This Sunday

"Living the Lord's Prayer"

While Pastor Kellen is away from worship, we welcome the Rev. Dr. David McNutt (PhD, University of Cambridge) to the pulpit. Pastor David will be sharing the sermon series "Living the Lord’s Prayer."

Prayer is essential to the Christian life. Indeed, John Calvin called prayer “the chief exercise of faith.” But what does it look like to live a life of prayer on a daily basis? During this series, we will consider what Jesus says about prayer by examining the petitions of the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6. By exploring this spiritual discipline together, we will seek to embody the Lord’s Prayer in our lives.

Reception for Dan Sommerville
Farewell to Daniel Sommerville
Director of Music Ministries
After serving faithfully with us over the past ministry year, Dan Sommerville, our Director of Music Ministry, will be concluding his time on staff. Dan has prayerfully realized that he needs to be more fully retired. We are thankful for his musical leadership in worship, bringing back the Westminster Choir, and coordinating music for various special services. Please join me in thanking God for Dan’s ministry and praying for he and his wife, Sharen, in the next chapter of their lives.
Dan’s last date is Sunday, August 14.
Please join us after worship for a reception in his honor.
