Weekly Highlights
Message to the Parish from Carol and Tami
As of today, the bishops of our diocese have closed all church buildings through May 17th. However, this is not in line with the most updated opening dates provided by Governor Cuomo. We fully expect a new communication from the diocese telling us June 1st at the earliest, but should be prepared for a much later date to be suggested.

What this means is we will continue to offer services via Zoom for as long as required. We acknowledge this is not optimal since we are a sacramental church, but given the constraints of the environment in which we now function, this is how we will continue to gather in community. We are also actively discussing how we will go about worship once we are permitted to gather within the Edifice.

Know that we hold you all in prayer and love. We ask you do the same for us.

Carol and Tami
Thank you!

A note of thanks to all of you who have so graciously responded to the reminder to pay your pledge during this disruption from our usual pattern of church. We are grateful for your response and willingness to support us as we maintain a sense of normalcy.

Because it is important we pursue every avenue to remain fiscally responsible, we have submitted an application for a forgivable loan from the SBA, under the Paycheck Protection Program, part of the CARES Act. As the program is greatly oversubscribed we do not know yet if or when we may receive funding. In the meantime, we value your contributions that allow us to continue to meet our budgeted obligations.
