Justice Temple is a saison style ale, fermented and aged in single use, red wine barrels from a winery in Red Mountain, Washington. The malt make up is equal parts Belgian Pilsner and Raw Wheat from Oregon, with a sprinkling of malted rye. Fermentation was carried out with a variety of Saison yeasts, lactic acid bacteria, and brettanomyces that we isolated from peach skins. After 6 months of bottle conditioning this beer is ready to consume. Double Mountain Viola 12th Anniversary Barrel Aged Flanders-Style Ale was blended for their 12th Anniversary, this tart Flanders-style ale was aged for over 15 months in a variety of barrels. The mouth is full of cranberry, tart cherry and ripe blackberry, finishing with a touch of bread and dry oak. Pike Monk’s Uncle is an abbey-style Tripel ale with fruity esters on the nose and a dry, crisp body. Organic malts, local hops, and Belgian ale yeast provide alluring hints of honey and spice.

Maria Dennis, aka ‘The Fruit Lady,’ will be making her next delivery to San Juan Island on June 27th, this time bringing Tieton cherries and pie cherries! As always, members may special order boxes of fruit for a discounted markup. We are offering 18# boxes of Tieton cherries for $98 and up to 15# boxes of pie cherries for $5/pound.
