For FY2023, Supreme is setting a goal to educate a total of 350 HCPs, which comes out to about 30 HCPs per month, or almost 1 HCP per day. For reference, we educated 299 HCPs last fiscal year, so we are looking at a growth rate of 17%. As long as we keep the focus on Med Ed throughout the year, we think this is a very achievable goal! Below you will see graphs demonstrating the number of HCPs each team and area has educated, as well as how this year's overall performance compares to last year. There is also a breakdown by category to give you an idea of what kinds of labs we are doing most often. This data includes planned medical education events (local and Arthrex), and is limited to Primary HCPs (MD, DO, DPM). It does not include local didactic only events or virtual courses. |

Lab Scorecard |
The graphs below show the numbers for how each team and area performed in the lab in the months of July through December. In total, we have now educated 138 HCPs to date. We only educated 20 HCPs in the month of December, so we lost a little ground, but considering there were two weeks when we had ZERO labs due to the holidays, that's pretty good! The Baltimore Area is holding the lead with 33 HCPs educated so far. However, Team NOVA 95 continues to dominate at the territory level with 24 HCPs educated for their team alone! Team NWDC is next behind them with 18 HCPs educated. See the next section for a breakout of the number of HCPs by territory/area. |

Lab Growth |
Below are graphs showing local lab growth at both the Area and Territory levels. The first graph in each set shows the percent growth from this time last year to this year, and the second graph shows the number of labs each team and area has hosted this year, with a comparison to the number of labs they had done at this time last fiscal year. Supreme overall has educated 138 HCPs so far this year, as compared to 140 at this time last year, for a growth rate of -1%.
We currently have 6 teams that have improved their lab numbers from last year, 2 that have stayed the same, and 8 that have decreased. Remember that medical education is still an important part of what we do, and now is a great time to be doing it! Shout out to Team NWDC for showing the most growth at 157%, and NOVA 95 takes second place with 85% growth. |

Labs by Category |
The pie chart below shows the breakdown of labs by category, so you can see which types of labs we are doing most and least often. Foot & Ankle labs continue to hold their lead. Out of the 138 HCPs we have educated so far this fiscal year, 50 have been for Foot & Ankle, and 37 have been for Knee & Hip. Shoulder is in third place with 22, and Shoulder Arthroplasty takes fourth with 14.
The second graph shows a comparison of the number of labs in each category that we have done this year, compared to this time last year. Knee now takes the lead there with 61% growth, and Shoulder Arthroplasty is in second place with 27% growth. Hand & Wrist and Knee Arthroplasty are both at 0% growth, and the remaining 2 categories are both looking at negative growth. (Note: this data only shows the primary category for each lab; for labs with two categories addressed, only one was counted.) |
Labs by Type |
The graph below shows all the surgeons we have educated this year so far organized by event type, and compares those numbers to this time last year. The large majority of our surgeon education this year was through local labs, which was also true in FY22, although we have seen 11% growth in local labs since last year. However the most growth is in Arthrex courses currently at 75% growth. We are still seeing decreases in Arthrex labs, local courses, and resident labs. |
The data in these graphs is for the period of July-December 2022. Any comparison or growth graphs compare this period to the same period last fiscal year (i.e. July-December 2021). Lab numbers in this update include only Primary HCPs (MD, DO, DPM).
*Note: With the dissolution of the DCPG Territory, for the sake of comparison we have reassigned all labs from FY22 with DCPG based on the surgeon's account - i.e., which team they are working with now. So note that Teams Annapolis, SMD, and The District may have inflated numbers for FY22 as they included HCPs that were educated but not by that team. |
