During 2019, teams of Georgia Tech undergraduate students participated in this innovation competition where they competed for over $35,000 in cash prizes along with patent filings for up to $20,000 that were awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners.

Join the Catalyst team for an open session where you can ask questions related to your idea or startup. ATDC Catalysts are available to help entrepreneurs develop successful companies through coaching. This event is open to anyone who has an idea or a startup.

Internships
College students attending Georgia Tech are encouraged to apply for the Students2Startups program. During this 12-week internship you will work with Atlanta-based technology startups. Funded by the City of Atlanta and participating startups, you will be matched with a reputable company.

Deadline: Friday, Jan. 31
Salary: $15/hour, 35 hours per week
Length of program: 12 weeks
Competitions/Funding Opportunities

Team MagTrack from Georgia Tech won Atlanta’s 2019 TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Pitch Competition (University level) at both the local and global level. Georgia Tech swept the 2018 competition with team Atramento placing first, team Oculus Prime placing second, and team Lunula Health placing third. You could be next!

Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, we encourage you to nominate yourself.

Monetary prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winning teams of the final competition in April 2019 will be awarded at $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000 respectively per team.

The winning team receives an all-expenses paid trip to TiECON Silicon Valley, California.

Located at Peachtree Corners this world class facility is available to test out your ideas. Funded by the City of Peachtree Corners, this space features IOT, 5G technologies, mobile track mapping, dedicated short range communication, video surveillance, AV test track, and more.

This facility is open to ALL students, faculty, and staff of Georgia Tech.
